The term "workflow" covers the movement and processing of files from the beginning to the end of a job. The technologies associated with graphic workflow are complex.  For example, file sizes are extreme and networking strategies designed for general offices are rarely appropriate; implementing processes such as colour correction and rendering demands a thorough understanding of the underlying theory; high familiarity with products from manufacturers which are active in the graphics market (such as Apple, Adobe, Quark, MacroMedia, etc) is essential.
