Canto Cumulus 8 offers a range of add-on modules that were unavailable previously to users of Cumulus workgroup editions. These add-on modules allow users to add enterprise functionality to support and extend their organisation's use of Cumulus. Here, we are highlighting some of the benefits of these newly available Cumulus add-on modules. The first of these is Autocataloguing with Asset Cross Referencing (AXR) - An Asset Collection's Family Tree.

AXR can keep track of the relationships between files themselves and the files that may be used in them. For example, suppose a designer creates an InDesign document and within this document, they use a number of pictures. With the Cumulus 'Autocataloguing via AXR' add-on module, Cumulus can catalogue the InDesign file and the pictures used in this document and then, build relationships between the pictures and the InDesign document. Some of these pictures maybe logos created from one master file. If that is the case, Cumulus can also show this master file and any variants of this master logo.
