HELIOS users can now benefit from the consolidation and flexibility offered by virtual computing by running their HELIOS servers in virtual environments. This also allows for easier load balancing, without needing to deploy multiple physical servers.

Specifically VMWare ESX Server, Microsoft Hyper-V and IBM PowerVM are being supported by all HELIOS server products, including the WebShare, EtherShare, and PCShare cross-platform file and print server solutions.

We are aware that many of our corporate HELIOS customers have been waiting for this and it will allow them to deploy their HELIOS environments in a much simpler way.
