JPY today announces a storage survey and a chance to win a top of the range iPod
JPY is attempting to answer questions regarding how users of different operating systems manage their data. In a mixed platform environment, are some platforms left out of the backup strategy? Do Mac users backup more than PC users? Does anybody know how to retrieve backed up data in an emergency?
JPY seeks to answer all these questions and more with this five-minute survey. All UK entrants will be eligible to win an iPod of their choice. Anybody that uses a computer at work, whether they backup or not, can help JPY gather this important information.
JPY Managing Director, John Yardley commented,
“We suspect that not all operating systems are treated the same way when data is backed up or archived. This survey should help us understand better the habits and attitudes of people using different platforms.”
