JPY throws a lifeline to TPI UK Xinet customers
Press Release

The recent announcement that UK Xinet distributor Turning Point Innovation has gone into administration will mean that many users will be considering their position now that support contracts may not be honoured. JPY has put together a crossgrade deal that will mean those users, currently lacking local support, will qualify for a 50% discount on competing products from HELIOS, Canto and Archiware.

Dr John Yardley, Managing Director of JPY said, "We understand that quality of support and service are paramount in this market, and we have 26 years experience in this very specialised field. We believe Xinet users would be better served by the suite of software solutions we offer, especially when combined with our expertise and of course this specially discounted offer."

Three suppliers, HELIOS, Canto and Archiware have joined forces to make this offer that could save Xinet customers thousands of pounds. Until the end of 2008, all three companies are offering them a 50% discount on their appropriate product suites &ndash HELIOS UB+, Canto Cumulus and Archiware PresSTORE &ndash which together provide all the Xinet functionality and more.

With already significantly lower licence costs and with the addition of 50% discount from HELIOS, Canto and Archiware, some customers can renew their total workflow solutions at little more than they previously paid for annual support on the Xinet-based installations. They also get the peace of mind of working with JPY plc, who has been trading since 1982 and whose reputation for technical support in the publishing world is second to none.

HELIOS UB+ is the de-facto standard in cross-platform publishing workflow solutions. Used to provide UnBreakable file, print, web and image management services, it is the system of choice to most of UKs national newspapers. HELIOS is offering a 50% discount on its Server Solution Suite to any existing supported Xinet customer.

Canto Cumulus is one of the world's most successful cross-platform Digital Asset Management systems. With its phenomenal built-in capabilities and Java-based API, it can be customised to almost any degree. Canto is offering a 50% discount on it Workgroup or Business Server Solutions to any existing supported Xinet WebNative/Venture customer.

Archiware PresSTORE is the highest-performance cross-platform archive, backup and synchronise solution available that offers Mac OS/Windows independence &ndash perfect for migrating from Xinet to HELIOS. Twice winner of both the coveted Macuser 5 mice and Macworld 5 star awards, PresSTORE has seen enormous growth in the Macintosh community. Archiware is offering a 50% discount on its modules to any existing supported Xinet FlashNet customer.

HELIOS, Canto and Archiware all provide best-of-breed solutions and they integrate together seamlessly.

The offer is only to existing supported Xinet customers and is valid until 31st December 2008.
